Classic
Toronto-Canada. Colours Entertainment and U and I Promotions brings the Reggae Classic show to Toronto on April 3rd 2004, at the Golden Palace Banquet Hall. The line up includes: The cool ruler Gregory Isaacs, John Holt, Michigan & Smiley and Dean Fraser.
Mr. Cool, Lady Jade, Sugar Man and Lloyd & Spida, will also be performing. The backing band for this super star line up will be The Mystical Explorer Band.
Gregory Isaacs born in Kingston Jamaica, is know as the cool ruler, with his cool and Claim present on stage. With hits like “Night Nurse” “Number One” “Love Overdue” “Send me a Pillow,” “Rumors” and many more hits you can be sure to get your monies worth.
John Holt also born in Kingston, Jamaica and known for his smooth love song such as ”Love I can Feel” “Left with a Broken Heart”
“Only a smile” and “Tonight” just to name a few will surely bring his a game to the reggae classic show.
Michigan & Smiley DJ of the year for 1978, ’79, ’80, ’82 and 1983 and have also performed on six reggae sun splash shows and have received several awards. With hits like “Nice up the dance” “One love Jam down” “Up town, down town” and the mega hit “Diseases”
Their present will surely warm the hearts of the fans in Toronto. This duo has not been in Canada for over ten years.
Dean Fraser is known throughout the reggae world as Jamaica’s premiere saxophonist and international musical treasure.
Dean has released eleven albums, including the critically acclaimed “Dean Plays Bob (vol.1&2).
Dean Fraser has work with the likes of Bob Marley, Black Uhuru, Freddie McGregor, Luciano, Sizzla, Beres Hammond, Sly & Robbie and the list goes on. Be prepared to be swept away by this unmistakable musical master.
Mr. Cool who is a native of St. Elizabeth, but now call Canada home will also be doing his time on stage. Mr. Cool has shared the same stage with the likes of Sugar Minott, Buju Banton, Garnet Silk, Dennis Brown and Capleton. The name Mr. Cool says it all.
